Hollie, you are a wonderful person for advocating real equality, and not cherrypicking only what benefits you, as most women have done here.

The shaming language from some of these women is sickening. It is evident not only in the comments, but in the article as well. Ad hominem attacks are always an indicator of a rebuttal that lacks substance.

True equality will never be accomplished until women take the good with the bad. Match our numbers in the blue collar industries; match our numbers in workplace deaths; marry down as often as men do; match men in the number of first dates initiated; always go Dutch; allow men to become 50% of the stay-at-home parents while the women fight in the cold, cruel ratrace; I could go on and on.

I don't care about the women paying discounted price or none at all, I think it's foul that women go straight in and the men's line move one inch every 10 minutes.

It always makes me angry when women are so blinded by what they think being a feminist means that they don't realize when they are using reverse-discrimination against a man. Feminism is about equality. It is about showing that we women can pull our own weight in society; we are not helpless; we can have a job, be independent, etc. Allowing only women to enter into a club for free (and not providing the same discount for men on alternating nights)causes 2 problems that are extremely anti-feminist.

1st) as one poster already pointed out, it vilifies the female sex by using our bodies as nothing more than to get men to come to clubs. After all, if we can get in free and overpopulate the club scene, then this means more men will come in. My body being used as a marketing technique goes completely against the feminist movement.

2nd) It sends out the message that women cannot pay their own way, but men can. If women are the only ones getting free admission (while men are not) it is saying we are weak and need to be catered to, while also saying men can pull their own weight and don't need special deals in order to get into an establishment.

So if anyone is anti-feminist in this entire situation, it is not the man that sued the clubs. The anti-feminist person is the Capitalistic club owners using women as a way to get more business in his club.

It's sad how whenever a man points out hypocrisy in modern society, he is labeled as "anti-feminist" or "misogynistic." Maybe the real issue is that women are taught to be misandrystic, and they are too ignorant to even realize it.

Giving women special treatment does not help the feminist movement at all. It only helps to further propagate the belief that women need special treatment in order to get ahead in this world. I, for one, will pay when I go to the club, because I can.

Dude looks perfectly fine, its true he's bitter but clubs arise out of a femenist environment. Without the feminists there are no clubs.They would all be at home cooking.

The point is if men want to control women. Don't go to clubs. Clubs encourage slutty behavior. there I said it.

First of all, Mike, any person who believes in equal rights, pay, etc for women is a feminist. That includes men who believes in such equality. Secondly, so what if a man has to pay a charge and a woman doesn't? If he doesn't like it, he doesn't have to freaking go to a club that practices this. There's plenty of other places to meet women. Let's face it, Ladies Free is a way to get men to come to the club. Men will drop loads of money on drinks, and the clubs love the revenue.

You sound very ignorant, not all feminists are men haters. I'm a feminist, and I'm all for equality of both sexes, equality for all. You sound bitter. Stop making generalizations.

I figured I would see these comments from girls. Of course women don't care about this, why would they, since when do women care about anything related to men's issues, they don't they only care about women's issues, which is sad considering that half of the u.s. consists of men, and man of these same women have boys, I feel sorry for these boys who are taught that there somehow less than women. Thank the feminists for that one, started with good intentions, but have moved on from wanting equality to wanting complete domination and could care less about men. I dispise feminists, and the stupid weak boyfriends who would be with a feminists, how dumb, I support men, you support men, what are feminists anyways, girls who are brainwashed by media and society to believe that women have it so bad, really, this isn't the 1950's ladies, you want equality than you should get punished equally, can't have it both ways. Let's start with hitting men. You put your hands on a man you should go to jail, I don't care if you can't cause as much damage, what a dumb argument. So if your a 30 year old lady 5'10 200 and some 15 year old girl who is 5'5 125 comes up and starts hitting you, you gonna just sit there, no you probably fight back, but hey don't hit her back she is weaker than you, dumb arguments lol. I can't stand feminists, feminists=man haters.

If anything, it's sexist to women. The club lets them in free because men frequent clubs where they have better odds. So women here are bait for deep pockets. I say, if the women attending the clubs are ok with that, the men should be too.

sounds like he got shot down at a club after plying someone with the over-priced drinks. just look at him! would you date him? he looks evil to me. Obviously he hasn't realized that the reason clubs favor women is because when we show up, the guys show up:)Such an abuse of his education makes me sick:(
