i do have friends that are whores (sleeping w/other ppl men), one who is judgmental and always causing drama n talkn shyt and be the main 1 starting shyt.. n i have the dumb friend who believes her non-sense makes sense. Through it all I have a bestest who is a real friend and i trust her completely, she does dumbshyt to but she’s different from all the rest..

I try to be friendly to everyone, but it takes me a long time to feel close enough to trust people. I think that doing this makes it easier to weed out the ‘frenemies’ from the friends. Over time, you can realise who’s genuinely supportive of you and who isn’t. It’s sad that it’s so hard to trust people, but I don’t think we can do much about it…

Wow!!
This is something, because I just had to deal with something very similar over the weekend. I’m with you, that you can not and should not toss around the term “Friend” too loosely because everyone is not worthy. I had really tight friendships with a lot of females in high school coming up, but there was always a bunch of cattyness and drama! and this past weekend was no different. It’s just really hard to find, have and keep real true friends today. And it’s sad because friendships are important! People need people..

I keep everyone at a distance and that allows my friendships to work out. I don’t think that I have really ever had a fallen out with a friend. I call and chit chat, but I don’t talk or see them everyday because I think being too close will eventually cause more problems. I love all my friends but I really don’t need to live in your everyday life.
