We were married six weeks after we met. It has been a great ride and I wouldn't trade him for anything or anyone in this world. So I don't agree that because you don't date forever doesn't mean that a marriage cannot work. Heck some people date for years and then can't stay married for a few months. When my husband proposed to me he made it simple...he was like we have spent the last six weeks getting to know things about one another...let's spend the rest of our lives truly getting to know one another and sharing our lives together....
