Regardless of what your name stands for the bottom line is that what people perceive. All these young new rappers have no clue about life, values, morals or anything in that nature. Hell you can call your self Young DumbAss and say you got that name because you walk like a donkey.

Rappers are already looked upon some uneducated fools, that can't calculate 2 x 2 and all that gets them off is ass shakin' and pretend to be thugs. Shit like that just adds more fuel to the fire. Hi! Young Coon is a childhood friend of my son. "Coon" was the childhood nickname that his family gave him - and it just stuck. There were no negative connotations intended back then even though the word "coon" has a bad rap in the black community. He is a good young man and you should know that his (single) mother passed away a few years ago. He came from a great family of God fearing, saaaanging people. Maybe he'll change his stage name and maybe he won't but I wish him well in all of his future endeavors.

Well first off I'm Yung Koon. I just wanted to clear up were and how I got that name. It's not something I made up. I earned it my nigga. Its my Grandfathers last name. Back in the day he was the King in the streets if you know what I mean and my daddy was the same way. There very well know around these parts. Even though I didn't know them all the O'gs around me always use to tell me stories about them. Well growing up the way I did they almost told me I have the mind like they did and that I looked just like them. So they always called me Lil Koon. The King part came from the streets and how I'm living. I'm my own man. But I wanted to clear that up player. Thanks for the hating though. Peace
