As hard as I try, I am unable to get into the Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj song. It is not because I think Nicki Minaj is an sub par rapper. It is because the song doesn’t sound like Robin Thicke’s style. I get that artists have to sometimes step out of the box to grow and also to reach a wider audience but seriously, what the hell was he thinking on this one? He is too sexy for this s**t. I even liked his song “Shooter” with Lil Wayne but this sounds cheap and not up to his caliber. I expect more from Robin. I want that old thing back. Not to mention that watching Robin Thicke dance is nothing less than comical. Check out their performance on David Letterman.
