I get what both of you are saying, my only problem with the letter is that she included "i would also like to add that I am a very attractive fair-skinned black women.". What does that have to do with anything? Maybe she is walking around thinking that because she is light-skinned and attractive, nothing could be wrong with her and therefore, she should be accepted by all. Sometimes the whole thing that "I am pretty so like me" makes her not a friend worth having or keeping around. I know if a girl walked around carrying that kind of chip on her shoulder, it would make me not want to be friends with her. LJ you are right though, look at the man in the mirror so to speak and see what it is you are doing first before judging black women as mean or spiteful as a whole.
