Islamist Egyptian Member of Parliament Hamdi Hassan, part of the conservative Muslim Brotherhood no likey Beyonce. He is distraught over the self proclaimed “diva’s” upcoming concert. He states that “The government is trying to make people indulge in sin.” He claims the singer, “who appears naked in her clips,” and her performance is a violation to the Sharia Islamic religious law. When it comes to religion I have mixed emotions. On one hand, you should be allowed to enjoy entertainment. It is only entertainment. On the other hand when that entertainment places you at a cross road with your religion to the point that you feel that what you are watching is somehow wrong or blasphemous then perhaps it should be avoided for your peace of mind. I would love to know what Beyonce’s thoughts are on all this. I also would like to know does she ever get tired of wearing leotards cause damn! They are like a uniform to her performances now.
