Chris Brown has made his opinion on Oprah’s decision to side with Rihanna well known since the incident. He continued to do so in the recent interview he did with Angie Martinez where he says “‘Tight, very tight’ at OPRAH for not reaching out to him as she did Rihanna. I envision Oprah in her Chicago high rise condo saying “boy you better get over it!” What did he expect from the Queen B Oprah? I do not think Chris is comprehending the way our society works. When a man and a woman get into a domestic altercation, even if the woman was the instigator of the violence and she put her hands on him first the man is always seen as the villain and scolded with “you should have walked away”. Unfortunately that is the double edged sword that has been created by our society in regards to the relationship between a man and a woman. Has stardom took Chris to a level where he does not live in reality anymore? Hmm, it seems so. No one knows exactly what happen between Chris and Rihanna but Chris and Rihanna but the evidence from the pictures suggested that Brown whopped some ass that night. So in essence, Oprah is doing what most normal people would do and that is to reach out to the victim. Most people are not going to take the time to coddle the abuser or attacker. Our world just does not work that way Chris. You have got to know that. Now, perhaps to be fair, she could have reached out to him and suggested counseling to him but we all know that ain’t Oprah. She has strong opinions about certain things like abuse, women, and even rap music. She does not bend on those opinions for anyone. Hell, she told one of the greatest rappers of our time that she still doesn’t like rap but likes him as a person. Does he really think she was going to bend for a teeny bopper hearth throb. It may not be fair in Brown’s eyes but such is life. Welcome to reality.
