Her life story has really compelled me to teach my daughter about how some of the white community views the black woman. We are so much more than our hips, thighs, breasts, and vaginas. We are "mother earth", we are a powerful force in building the next generation. I want to teach my daughter that education is so much better than sexual satisfaction.
